Ad spending up in 2005
Ad Age reports a projection by TNS Media Intelligence that ad spending will grow 5.1% in 2005 to $150.5 Billion. Not a bad prognosis considering the millions spent on the Summer Olympics and the 2004 political ads. Some highlights:
- The internet will post the fastest growth up 11.2%
- Spanish language TV- up 9.4%
- Cable TV up 9.3%
- Network TV up 2.9%
- B2B Magazines up 1.5%
- Spot TV up 0.6%
