I spoke today at the Travel Industry Association TravelCom Conference. It has been a great meeting of travel professionals discussing the future of technology on the travel industry. By far the most impressive and forward thinking presentation was the presentation by Paul Yanover the SVP of watl Disney Parks and Resorts On-line. I have been preachingthat the future of the internet can bee easily found by watching the kind of interactive flash websites that my kids play every day. Paul took that idea to a new level indeed with his presentation of the technology that Disney is currently using. Check out Disney's Virtual Magic Kingdom - very impressive - but nothing compared to the interactive Crush - from Finding Nemo - who talks to kids - totally interactive and amazingly impressive. The three tenants of their on-line business - and they believe that on-line is not a seperate business unit -but an extension of the Magic at the resorts-

Judging by what I saw today - I expect the Mouse to be leading the entertainment world- in parks and on-line for a long time to come.
